Buying New Skis/boots/bindings. Looking for help. What do you think ?
Happy Autumn All,
So here's the run down...
I recently moved to Montana and am looking to buy a new pair of Pow skis/boots/bindings. I've spoken to some retail sales people but sometimes you don't know if they are helping you out or simply looking for a sale. Any advice would be extremely appreciated.
I'm looking for a new pair of deep snow skis. I ride my 2011 Salomon 1080's if I'm going to ride groomers or hard pack but they just don't cut it when the snow gets deep. I would consider myself to be a good skier and feel that my current skis are limiting what I can and cannot do. I'm 6'0 180lbs.
Secondly, I have been getting the itch to get into the Touring game. If there is a set up that could double for both resort skiing (Jackson and Big Sky) as well as backcountry touring, that would be ideal.
Any suggestions or specs that you recommend would be great!
Thanks guys! Have a great day!
Pete

Definitely get red boots, they're always the fastest and usually hike pretty well too!

you may want to delete this thread since you seem to have found the right forum now...

Whatever you buy, make sure you film your exploits using at least 3 GoPros- that way, you can capture ALL the angles as you thrash the gnar.
