Description: Used DPS Wailer 105s Pure 188cm White Stripe (black with single white stripe running the length of each ski, bamboo sidewalls). Used, not even remotely used up. Great shape. Bases in very nice shape. Drilled once for Dynafit Vertical STs and once for DynaDuke plates for S/M Duke (boots ~300mm, mounts on the 0/line). Unused for a couple seasons now; great ski, just have since been replaced by the W99s and W112s I now have. One of the lightest skis ever made by DPS, lighter year even than other model years of same ski. Smooth round medium flex. I'd like to clear out as soon as possible, someone make any reasonable offer. Didn't sell last year after asking for $350, so I'm willing to consider something less than that I suppose!

Thanks for looking, let me know!

Nice!!! My favorite ski currently produced...and certainly my favorite DPS ski ever. To me, this is the real "charger" manufactured by DPS. IMHO, this would be a perfect ski, if only it had a square [flat] tail. Ski it well, and enjoy.

    ^^^ hmmm, this pleases me.

After many years of lusting I finally have a DPS (sub)-quiver.

188 Wailer 105 Flex 2 (TBM w/ inserts for tech binders)
    190 Lotus 120 Flex 3 (TBM w/ sollyfits)
    192 Lotus 138 Flex 2 Rocker 2 (TBM w/ sollyfits)

or should the Wailers be equiped with plates for inbound escapades as well?

edit: schindler, did you ever trim the tails off of your wailers? i remember reading a thread where someone trimmed the tail ~ 5cm (the edges don't wrap around, they just cut throught the tail insert; hacksaw, clamp & epoxy); making it flat(ish).

    ^^ Change that to 202 L138 and I think that's all you'd ever need.

I would not be opposed to acquiring the 202.

... and I have yet to partake in the odd combination of chargeability/slarvability that the 138 allegedly embodies.

PM, I cut off the tails of my w105 and posted about it, either in a w105 or a separate thread, I don't remember. No need to epoxy or clamp, there is a plastic insert in the tail, just make sure you don't cut the tail so far back you are in the wood core. I took a file to smooth out the edges of the cut a few times, but it worked out well.
