I got no problem with the East coast, hell it's where I'm from. I was more against the moderation and deleting of threads and whatnot. Owens has the power to do that but fer the most part we're self-moderated and I like it. I just don't like "THE MAN" keeping me down.

And I have to agree, way too much of the "I'm so much radder than any other skier, and therefore much more worthy" attitude here, and a lot of people getting easily trolled. But I don't mind seeing the moderator-fans get what's coming to them.

And ScottG should realize that a list of EC hills doesn't really say anything about the quality of TR's or the skiing, and if he thinks otherwise he doesn't really know what's up.

Greg has every right to run AZ the way he wants, it's HIS site, and as someone who IS admin of a busy forum myself, and has plenty of forum moderation experience, I'm sorry, but sometimes running a tighter ship is just better for the community. Ii definitely don't like this holier than thou attitude right now - I love TGR, but it's not about being elitists.

Most of my shit is for fun, but you gotta admit that a "trip report" to Hunter mountain or Wachusset or Bobcat is funny.
I'm all for folks posting how the conditions are, but "trip report" implies some sort of adventure worth sharing with others.

Fully take my hat off to Jay, Sugarloaf, Stowe, MRG, the Presidentials, and many other nice mountains out East. Hell, I even had fun one day on the highest lift served "mountain" East of the mighty Mississippi.
