Favorite Airfare price watcher?
Title pretty much says it all. I've got a few plane tickets that I need/want to buy in the coming months and would like to nab the best prices, I'm open to any and all suggestions to that end.

MSNBC wasn't really all that helpful..
Thanks in advance.

That article doesn't mention Kayak.com. I'm probably way out of my element here, but Kayak's fare alert system has worked well for me in the past.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

I think it is a feature on kayak where you can see the past price trends for tickets you are looking for to get a sense of what a good price is so you take it when it appears.
My personal experience is that getting a good deal on tickets is more difficult than in the past as the airlines are running tighter ships so to say.

I don't think you're in college anymore, but, for those that are, I used to have decent luck with http://www.studentuniverse.com/.

The Village Voice has always advertised excellent airfare consolidators.
