I have VP on my sunday. Pretty pleased with it so far. Like anything with gimbals that cock move, there is a little noise, but nothing bad. Gimbal is built into the bearing, so the top and bottom cup don't have to be in laser guided alignment like on the angleset. Well made and machined. A little sticky on the friction side of things, don't notice it at all on my double crown riding downhill. Really easy to change angle. The guys at VP recommend white lithium grease...since it's so easy I regrease mine often. Never felt any slop or anything out of it. Would buy again, but I would buy works components cups over the VP if I was looking to make a permanent change.

fwiw, I've never adjusted it, and I don't ever plan on it. My sunday is 63.5 head angle 13.5bb right now, aka destroyer sled, and I see no reason to change it. What I'm saying is don't get too caught up in the adjustability, you'll probably find that slacker is more fun, and leave it there. It does require more tweaking and such then a normal headset, so like a said, expect some noise and a clack or two. Performance wise, it has held together, and not loosened up or gotten sloppy.
