Does the soundtrack count as a cast member?

A couple that come to mind, although not BEST:

The Great Escape: McQueen, Garner, Attenborough, Coburn, Bronson

The Outsiders (another Copolla - some of these guys turned douchey, but were fantastic here): Swayze, Dillon, Macchio, Lowe, Diane Lane, Estevez, Cruise, Tom Waits

No love for "A Bridge to Far"? (amusingly, reviewed in the first playboy I ever found)

The Longest Day is a good one. Strong cast that clicked, imo. How the west was won functioned more as vignets.

I always thought Rumble Fish was the better of those two Copolla films.
How about The Right Stuff or Dog Day Afternoon. Pretty much any movie from the Cohen bros qualifies.

Dog Day Afternoon is a sick movie, but IIRC there are really only three big parts and, of those, one actor (Chris Sarandon) never appears with either of the other two.

Your first nudie mag and you actually noticed there were words in in? Let alone words arranged into amusing movie reviews?

Bridge to Far, and the Great Escape are both good nominations though.

Best cast, but shitty movies.... Not that I didn't love them at the drive-in in the 70's.

Orange County is another worthy sleeper in comedy. Lily Tomlin, Jack Black, Chevy Chase, Kevin Kline, Johnathon Lithgow, Catherine O'Hara, and Tom Hanks son, Colin as the lead.

If we are going full douche, but biggest names (of the generation), that Valentine's Day movie and New Year's Eve movie had a shit ton of "stars."

Which makes me think of Love Actually, which I think is a fun holiday flick. Had a great cast.

The original Poseidon Adventure had quite a cast.. I had completely forgotten that Leslie Neilsen was the Captain.

    Reservoir Dogs
    The Usual Suspects
    Gosford Park
    Magnolia
    Big Lebovski
    Thin Red Line

And well, not maybe the bestest cast , but how all ties together : Apocalypse.Now.

And I think all those movies are in my Top 25 evah.

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

If you can't name the film then you really have no business discussing film IMHO.

The first one is The Wild Bunch, definitely a contender in the cateegory. The second is Jaws unless they appeared together in some other film, and I don't see that as more than an also-ran here.
