So headed back up to the inlaws for a week in beautiful sandpoint and trying to decide if its worth it to lug some gear to hit up the DH at schweitzer. Is there legit stuff up there worth riding? Techy DH descents? some flowy jump trails? I don't need the best but just wondering if its worth checking out.

What about rentals, since we are traveling with the kid for the first time I want to keep things easy so I'm not going to bother packing up the bike. That said are there any good reasonable rental shops in the area? Do they rent pads etc? If needed I can bring my own pads and helmet but again in the interest of keeping things simple I'd probably rather just rent up there.

I did a quick search and came up blank, so if you know of a thread with some info and can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Also if I end up riding and some maggots would want to play tour guide that would be awesome, I'll be up there from the 8-14 but not sure which days I'd have free to ride yet.
