I think nailed it is appropriate.

He nailed his landing exactly how intended.

Jamie P ^^^^^^ anyone that's bitching about the semantics of this MASSIVE front flip needs to either put up or STFU.

Mike Leake, freeride coach at Grand Targhee, had a vid of him doing a 100 foot front flip to his feet on here a few years ago. He broke both skis and his knee when it sunk into his helmet. He skied away, then had surgery. It appears Ligare has submitted his thesis in teton gravity research and walked away with an A.

Didn't any of you Cats watch TGR's One For the Road...? Todd's flip is part of the opening and the first chapter of this movie has to be one of the best ever... He and Griffin Post facking killed it in the opening...! Todd skis through a chute at mach looney that could not have been any wider than 2 foot... He and Mac to me right now are untouchable (although Eric H is right there)...!

that zone has been going off over the last few years ,and stickin big landings will catch up with you,imo a backslap landings is less likely to give you 5 bulging disc's in neck and back.

Exactly what I was thinking. The movie came out almost a year ago and everyone is just seeing this now.

    he stamped it?

    Stop acting stupid.
Noones bitched about the way he landed nor said anything but FKNA.
OP used the wrong word to describe the landing, that's all.
It does not take anything away from anyone.
But stomp is still the wrong word to describe that landing.

But I"m interested in knowing if you think someday we'll be taking 100 foot airs to your specs? IMO, if you ski out of a hundred foot air pretty soon after jumping off the damn thing then you stuck it.
Agreed. He hit that with big cliff style, took it to his back/side and skied away, alive and unhurt. You don't see people or pros sticking 100 footers...in most cases they're hut tubbing or doing what Todd did. And its badass.

I have watched One For The Road about 20 times this summer. That shot with the way they segue in to it gives me so much anxiety anticipating it, and goosebumps every time he launches.

Been a fan ever since the Jackson segment in Re:Session.
