Anyone see a giant 300lb lion roaming around Park City?

This weekend, a metal sculpture of a lion, valued at $12,000, was stolen from the Kimball Arts Festival.

Maybe, but it will make a good story over many a 30 pack of PBRs...unless they get caught

My first thought when I saw this over the weekend was which highschool lobby does this show up in.

But I guess it could be soome degenerate tweaker as well.

Then I thought about the fact this piece was probably insured and that the only way the artist was ever going to get it paid for was to have it stolen.

I hope it is just some local kids being kids and it shows up with 2012 on it's side in shoe polish.

Well with Snoop Dogg converting to rastafarian and becoming Snoop Lion it's made the sculpture that much more valuable. I'm sure it's no uglier than all the hideous crap they keep erecting around Bonanza/Prospector.
