Thread: Kind Shock Lev 2011 vs 2012 Model differences?

Are there any differences (other than colour) between the KS Lev from year to year?

I can get this for $355:

Is the only difference the colour and the red aluminum vs. carbon activation handlebar lever?

there was no 2011 LEV. it was new to the market in ~may 2012, just FWIW.

Strange. That's what I thought, but the pics are different in the two websites. The silver one on Cambria looks a lot like the proto's they were showing at SeaOtter etc in 2011.


If there was only one production year, I'm not sure why the pics are different then? :/

One other thing to consider. If CBO's website says, "usually 2-5 business days" under availability, it means not in stock. In this case, most sizes won't be out till Oct/Nov.

Gotcha.

I called CBO and they said that they didn't have it in stock, but they could FOR SURE get it from KS.

So I called KS and they said Nov 1st is correct officially, although it could be a week or two earlier if things go well.

So now I wait...

What size do you need?

I would say that if the 2013 actually proves itself to exist and ships by spring 2013, then that will be the significant difference between it and the 2012.
