would another reason be, it's socially acceptable to shag your sister in your mountain town?

Ha. Is that picture of Dylan on the wall of the Stagecoach with that guy in glasses holding the mandolin? That's pretty cool, too.

Banjo Benny, by 'that guy in glasses', Bill Briggs, first to ski the Grand Teton.

The blues has always been about taking your problems and turning them into something you can dance to, drink to and fuck to.
We're certainly not a blues band in any kind of purest sense, but to me Rock and Roll has always had it's roots in that tradition.

Interesting tidbit: the band that plays every Sunday Night at the Coach (which includes Bill Briggs) is supposedly the longest running weekly band anywhere in the USA.
So c'mon down and get some wings, and cluck like a chicken.

Well, I make the menu up for the restaurant that is in the Coach, called the Mercantile Grill. Read the 'Best Apps' thread. Other than that, no relevance, besides that drunk folks in cool bars often enjoy Poutine.

My first job in Jackson during the winter of 98/99 was afternoon liquor store clerk and doorman during nights at the Coach. Incredible memories to say the least. My first day a cowboy drove up to the window and ordered a whiskey and coke, I was totally taken back and blown away when I told the bartender and she started making his cocktail for the drive thru window. That same night was an invite only party for Heather Thomas. I think I got her name right, she was the token hottie for the 70's tv show The Fall Guy? It snowed a shit ton that season, TGR was still in it's infancy and those guys were in a lot. The doorman shifts ended up being too much though, I drank all night and was up way too late but I was young so I still got a lot of skiing in. This was just before the boundaries were opened. Riding the tram and doing quick Rock Springs hot laps was like heli skiing every run. One of my most exciting and memorable winters of my life!
