J, good-on-ya!
And, an inspirational tale worth learning from for anyone who doesn't like the way their life is going.
I can't remember ever witnessing a maggot/maggette turn around their life the way you have in the space of a year,
in this or any other place in the webz. In a year filled with so many vibes threads, it's really great to read one where a life is saved and made to flourish.

Please, be inspired..
being in good shape is something almost anyone can do, and no matter what other issues, problems, complications, fears and struggles are trying to push you down, being in good shape makes everything easier....Last edited by mtngirl79; 08-06-2012 at 12:27 PM.

Again, strong work girl. All you need now is more goals. Where do you imagine taking your new-found skillz next season? Whistler backcountry? Rogers pass? I hear training for AK is a good motivator. Maybe ask Kyle Miller for some appropriate objectives? Anyway, keep on keepin on. Glad you headed west. You are now officially everyone's kid sister around here. As you have learned, and we all forget sometimes, life is not a dress rehearsal. We expect TRs.
"We need sometimes to escape into open solitudes, into aimlessness, into the moral holiday of running some pure hazard, in order to sharpen the edge of life, to taste hardship, and to be compelled to work desperately for a moment at no matter what. -George Santayana, The Philosophy of Travel

Great read and good for you. skiing is not just a hobby or a sport, but a way of life in some many ways. You have proved that to yourself for sure. Best of luck this season and keep kicking ass
