Little bit of stoke - vid, beautiful track, beautiful place - Wanaka

This is my back door track. The local tourism crew made a flick of it and it's kinda cool (you can see my house at 0.45). Rider is Justin Leov.

Since the vid was made the track's been hyper-re-burmed. More-bigger-faster...

Hell yeah. That's so awesome they got leov riding in a tourism promo.

In america, every tourism board promotes biking like this.

    It's cool they're not afraid.

My favorite ad is actually in Bike magazine. It's for some state (forget which one) and shows a woman who looks like she's riding her hybrid bike home from yoga class, complete with 20 year old helmet and knee and elbow pads.
You'd think, at some point, a marketing guy might consider paging through the magazine he's buying space in.

Don't underestimate the sales guy at the magazine telling them the product and ad are both PERFECT for their market/readership...

I love Wanaka - spent a few weeks there a couple of years back staying at a place right on the lake. Nice place to live, I imagine.
