Kyle Miller Slideshow at Second Ascent in Ballard

Hey peeps I just moved to Ballard for a change of pace and to celebrate it I am putting on a slideshow at Second Ascent. I will be talking a small amount of my youth but more importantly it will focus on the last 14 months.

This will all be filmed as part of a documentary on my upbringing, why I climb and how I have motivated myself.

Contrary to popular belief as a professional athlete I do not own a mansion, an expensive sports car, or a trendy business so while not required donations will be gladly accepted! Click image for larger version.

Agreed! That's why I want people to show up so they can get some film time and talk about why they love the mountains.

Good luck with the show Kyle! Would love to come see this but will be fishing and climbing in the Pasyten all next week.

It is geared for anyone who loves the mountains.

IMO I think the topic and explanation could make a great film!

No use of the word progression but I can imagine the use of the word obsession will be used a lot.

Wish I could make it, going to be on the other side of the Sound that week tho
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

I'll try to get over the bridge and catch it but I don't know if I'll be able to get out of work early enough. Hope it goes well for you, Kyle!

Good slide show and the free beer was a welcome surprise. Your friends yelling suggestions was pretty humorous and I assume directly related to the free beer.

That was awesome by the way! Great pictures. Small world-in March I skied with some Sweetgrass people up in Juneau. Their movies always were a new and refreshing look at other people in the ski culture.

Got that one last year, along with Apex & Amphitheater. Bagged Osceola, Pass Butte, Lost Pk. and Rolo this year.
