Women's Tech Boot with wide last

My 16 year old daughter is bugging me about touring this winter. Although, she only weighs 115lbs, she has her father's feet...i.e.: extremely wide. She would not be able to even slide into a Dynafit boot. She wants a dyna-compatible boot with a 102mm+ last, and a flex of 110ish. B.D. Scarpa, Garmont. Shiva seems narrow. Any thoughts?

I am in a Method. It is a bit narrow (for my square toes), but I have learned to live with that sort of discomfort.

The BD efficient boots are pretty spacious. Disregard how the liner fits, it's tight lasted like a mofo. The newer one might have fixed that.

This might seem like it's out of left field, but Scarpa's Terminator Pro boot has tech fittings and a wide, I mean wide last. I use mine in Dynafit STs all the time. You have to use a puck that goes under the bellows but that comes with the boot and it works fine.

Comes with an Intuition liner, and it's not super-stiff.

ETA: Or check out the Scarpa Skookum if there's one short enough for her. It's pretty wide, but not as wide as the Terminator X Pro.

I think the Garmont Luster, the woman's version of the Radium, might work. Not sure what the last says, but it (the Radium) felt like 102 to me.

Looks like the wider last boots that WPT has in her size are Garmont Asylum and Scarpa Shaka. She'll try both on. She is used to Intuitions, and the Shaka has a whopping last of 104mm. Is this the widest boot ever? Asylum is stiffish (120 flex), but her current Nordicas are way too soft (90 + Intuition HD Race flex)

My Bd quadrants are super wide (once intuitioned), think the Prime
or equivalent women's version worth a shot. Normally need a 6th toe punch, not these.

Today, she tried on 3 boots: Scarpa Shaka, BD Swift and Garmont Asylum. Better yet, she got to ski all three indoors at Alan Schoenberger's Ski Studio, here in Park City. The Scarpas were too big. The Garmonts were a bit too tight and stiff. After inserting her Intuitions in place of the BOAs, the Swifts were just right.
    Thanks for the help.

FWIW, the Dynafit One boots (coming in September with a women's model as well) fit nothing like previous Dynafits, esp. the TLT5 series. Nominal forefoot width is 103mm. I've had the men's version on and they fit my D width feet well right out of the box.

Not to change the topic, but it seems like the original problem has been solved.

Greg, what's the word on the rest of the fit compared to the tlt5 on the One series boots. is it just wider in the forefoot or is there space everywhere (instep, ankle, heel). I'm trying to figure out if i want to snag some cheaper summer time tlt5's or wait for the one series, vulcs, mercs, whatever. Thanks.

I've only had the One U on in the sample size so far, and they are wider in the mid-foot and arch as well as the forefoot. Quite a bit different than the TLT5 fit. Weight is still very light, and the rearward range of motion of the cuff seems the same as my TLT5P. I should be able to try on the Mercury and Vulcan this week.

Cool, I was under the impression the One and Vulcan where the same shell, but I'd be happy to hear your assessment. I only have a predicament because the tlt5 is one of the best fitting boots I've ever tried on.

Do know any place that will have them in stock before sept. 15th? EVO?

The specs say 103mm for both. If the TLT5 fits you perfectly that may be the way to go. As far as having them in stock before Sept. 15th, I doubt it but I can check the ship date.

Cool, thanks for checking. The tlt beef might still be lacking even I put in some hoji mods. I'll just have to try them on. They gotta be better than the quadrants.

so lots of volume period ?

I need a wide fore foot & narrow heel/chicken ankle, think anything coming from dynafit will work ?

I tried the GEA which might work altho I worry about enough toe room but I do wana try the new garmont cosmo

Not exactly - with uncooked liners they feel slightly lower volume than a Maestrale and a fair bit smaller than a BD Quadrant. The heel feels a little narrower than Scarpa too. They're only voluminous compared to the TLT 5, but so is every other touring boot.
