How to get photoshop for less than 600 bucks?
Ideas? Hacks? Mom jokes?

1) steal it
2) make friends with a student and get an educational discount
3) buy a used copy
in increasing order of legality

All the torrents look iffy. And they have huge pages of instructions, which seem to only sometimes work, and half i searched people said were virused. Have a proven recomendation?

Craigslist in Denver. You'll probably find someone down here selling a copy for cheap.
Or just pay $30/month or $199 a year for a subscription to it.

the earlier versions have super simple patches.. so if you don't care about the newer additions then it's great. still rocking CS2 and for what I use it for, it's just as good as the latest

If you need to ask this in 2012, you deserve to get busted buying pirated software from some dude on Craigslist that did what you could do in less than an hour if you weren't a fucking idiot.

Another vote for open-source GIMP. Free, legal, good. Not great, but great for the price.

I used to work at a video store. We'd open the boxes, take the tapes out and put in plastic boxes and reseal the originals back in plastic. I was 15 years old, it isn't rocket science. Why would someone buy software, never use it and sell it to you for cheap? It's either stolen or not-legit. The ONLY way I could see this being legit is if he was a student, got it at the student rate and selling it to you for more than he paid.
So again, you're not very smart about this stuff.Brought to you by Carl's Jr.
