    You're not kidding. I swear I got faster just from watching them for two weeks. That elbows out thing that Spagnolo does helps a lot.

    If you like riding mountain bikes and have never been to a World Cup DH race, you owe it to yourself to go. The speed and technical abilities these guys and girls have is amazing to see in person. Pictures really do not do justice to gnar that they not just ride, but pin it through. My gf and I went up to MSA for the World Champs in 2010 and the whole thing was just awesome. Also cool how close to the action you can get as a spectator.

    Those are some nice pics, thanks for posting them up.

    out of curiosity, what size lens did you shoot these with? did you haul big glass out there or something a bit more manageable?

    it's nearly all a 70-200 f2,8, a little bit with 35-70 f2.8

    Thanks, I thought that one was pretty sweet. The shot of Spagnolo was my favorite though. I was pretty psyched about the one of Hart too, because it was so hard to pan the rider of the roadgap when you couldn't see him until he was on the lip of the jump.
