Valdez AK Guidebook, the sequal
In the past there has only been one guidebook option for the non heli-skiing dirtbag-backcountry skier in Valdez AK. This fine piece of literature written by Matt Kinney (pseudo legendary backcountry ski guide) gave names and approaches to many of the best road accessible skiing in the area; generally available for purchase at the airport and other fine retailers. Trouble is... Matt like many of us loves pow laps and does not talk about much of the magnificent ski-tourable gnar. A new book has been written by Utar import and all around spartan masochist skier Aaron Brown detailing about a hundred chutes and more spicy lines.
His intent is for this book to be used to complement Kinney's original a la "The Chuting Gallery," of the Utah promised land.
Link to Aaron's site, where he explains a little more.

Just saw the first edition, looks great in print. Spiral bound, about the size of piece of notebook paper.

I seriously doubt it, he's pretty low key about the whole thing. Actually one of the reasons I'm posting instead of him... If its something you think should be there I would suggest you shoot him an e-mail. He'd be stoked to hear from you I'm sure.
