Length - Dynastar LP 115 184cm vs XXL 187cm ?
Hi there
A simple and perhaps stupid question. In terms of physical length, how does the 184cm LP 115 compare to the 187cm XXL...?
Do you own both models? Might I trouble you to stand them on their tails and tell me which one is longer and by how much?
Why am I asking? I used to have a pair of XXL's and I'm thinking about buying a pair of 115's. Yes, I know they're a very different ski.
Many thanks - Grigor

I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
20 days skiing in 2009/2010 (15 Powder days)
18 days skiing in 2010/2011 (15 Powder days)
16 days skiing in 2011/2012 (2 cat days and 11 Powder day's)
18 days skiing in 2012/2013 (12 powder day's)
Thanks BCSAR

Apologies - it's a sorry excuse for a first post.
I just don't trust stated lengths (even from the same manufacturer) and don't have a chance to compare them before I buy (online). Just interested to know if 187 minus 184 really does equal 3.
I don't really follow ski tech stuff and had been a bit surprised at the lengths the 115's came in.
Cheers - Grigor

Thanks Whyturn. I didn't really explain my situation that well - sorry.
I suspect that the 115 is a ski I will like and now there are a few pairs around at modest prices. I used to ski XXL's in a 184 and was looking to check the length comparison before buying something I haven't had a chance to handle properly in person.
I know it's not what a normal person would do but I'm a bit special.
So. Does anyone have a tape measure and either model handy...?Last edited by Grigor; 07-25-2012 at 02:06 PM.

Nice one - thank you Whyturn. Nice to know that Dynastar maths works.
I guess I'll go and buy a pair...
