Freeride Systems is happy to offer the following:

If you have had difficulty with off the rack pants for skiing or riding, now is your opportunity to get a pair with your desired waist and inseam made for you for premium off the rack prices. Freeride Systems is the supplier and vendor to the highest based Mountain Search and Rescue team in North America. They buy our jackets. We don't give them to them for free in a buddy buddy deal. They believe in our apparel. We will be using our same high quality USA Made labor practices to offer you two versions (Inside Pockets~Most expensive, Outside pockets~least expensive) of ski and ride pants in several fabric options allowing you to pick waist and inseam size. Limited numbers of fabrics and colors will be available, consisting of Polartec Neoshell (most expensive), Goretex from Japan (mid level cost), and a generic 3 Layer Waterproof Breathable laminate fabric (most affordable). Your price will be based on pocket selection and fabric choice.

Pants base price will be between $225-$330 plus shipping


I need your sizes emailed to me NOW not pm'd but email....mcollins@freeridesystems.com There is no deposit required at this level. I am simply aggregating what sizes are desired and who I will be able to serve.

I will be organizing sizes into about 8 sizing blocks. If your size fits, I will be able to make your pants and notify you per #2 below on or about September 1st. If you do not fit into this Fall production. I will notify you but continue to accumulate interested parties for a 2nd Production Process that may start around Christmas (Dec 25)



Time table and Deposit Schedule

1. July 15- November 15, 2012 Accepting emails for interest with your desired size waist and inseam. email: mcollins@freeridesystems.com
No money to be deposited during this period, you may fill out detailed size chart starting now.
2. November 16 Notification of what sizes I will be able to produce this fall, henceforth called Production I.
3. November 16-Dec 1 $25 Deposit must be paid, credited toward purchase price or refunded (less mailing costs) if you do not like the fabric samples (1st Round Deposit)
4. October 8, I will send Fabric Swatch samples, and measurement chart you must fill out and may email or snail mail back to Freeride Systems to all 1st Round depositors.
5. On or before Dec 7 , You must make your fabric selection. I will then quote your total pants price. A Non Refundable 2nd Round deposit of 60% of total purchase price is now due. Your pants will be cut and labor costs will accrue from this point. So no refund. You will have to sign a short contract of understanding (contract should be available for review by Dec 1) (2nd Round Deposit)
6. Dec 15- February Pants in Production

7. January-February 2013 Tentative Completion Dates and Shipping Pants

Production I are primarily pants for snow. We will be SEAM Taping as I am in the process of buying a seam taping machine and moving it from NY to Colorado !!! I personally tested the pants above in picture one from Jan-April 2012. They had no seam taping but from here on out I will be seam taping !!!! Testing was conducted in Colorado Rocky Mountains in conditions ranging from Extreme storms to bluebird days. Not tested in rainy conditions. The pants in picture one I tested were Neoshell in inbouds and out of bounds areas. The fabric is highly breathable but more susceptible to cuts from ski edges than a heavy nylon PU coated fabric. I experienced no wetness seeping through seems even in butt crack sitting on chairs with snow. However, seam taping will prevent butt seep in future pairs if it were to occur.
