MITT ROMNEY WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR GUNS !

Gun owners and the NRA are a bunch of fools.

Every gun blog I read is still saying that Obama is going to take away their guns if he gets re-elected. Those fools will actually vote for Romney, who really is anti-gun.

Here is Mitt Romney in 2004, signing an assualt weapons ban in Massachsetts.

    http://www.iberkshires.com/story/148...apons-ban.html

"Governor Mitt Romney has signed into law a permanent assault weapons ban that he says will make it harder for criminals to get their hands on these guns, Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsmens groups and gun safety advocates. The new law ensures these deadly weapons, including AK-47s, UZIs and Mac-10 rifles, are permanently prohibited in Massachusetts no matter what happens on the federal level."

"Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people." - Mitt Romney

I guess this is when his flip-flopping is doing us good. Romney isn't in favor of any new legislation regarding controlling firearms. If he was Ted Nugent wouldn't be all over his balls.

    Yup, a 226 (9mm).

I love it. When I was in the Navy, the military was searching for a replacement for the old .45. We got to train with both the SIG 226 and the Beretta, as well as a S&W 9mm, as part of the test. I loved the SIG so I bought one for myself. After my discharge, the military ended up adopting the Beretta. Not sure why, I thought the SIG was way better.

I think most people share that opinion. Just because something's obviously superior doesn't mean any branch of the military is gonna go with it. Look at ACU - the Army finaly admitted a couple weeks ago that that camo was completely useless in any given environment.

But back on topic: so you're saying that you (a gun owner) are a fool? I like self-deprecation as much as the next bloke, but that's a bit harsh.

Nope: I am voting for Barack Hussein Obama, the guy who won't take my guns away. I probably should have have said "most gun owners".

Here is more Romney footage showing that he is way worse than Obama when it comes to gun control.

You're an idiot if you're voting for either douchebag because of his pro gun pro 2A stance.

As for Mittens - it's nothing new. Anybody remember McCain?

What do you think fast and furious was about if not an roundabout attack on the 2 nd amendment? Idiot!

    See what I mean ?

Mott the Hoople, in addition to making shitty homo-erotic music in the 70's, bashes Obama for a conspiracy theory about a "roundabout attack on the 2nd Ammendment", then will turn around and cheer for Romney, who did not just do a "roundabout attack", Romney made a full frontal assault on the 2nd Ammendment.

    What a bunch of fools.

My prediction: if Romney wins within 24 months we will have some sort of National Emergency and Romney will begin confiscating guns from American citizens. I will donate $20 to the NRA if I am wrong. I would bet $10,000, but I don't have as much money as Mitt Romney.

    Both guys are lying.

Amazing that you guys have to listen to the words.

Obama claims to have no interest in erasing the 2nd amendment but only a fool believes it.
Romney claimed to be against assault weapons but only a fool believes him.
I've been to two state fairs and a goat fuck and never seen anything like this!!

If Romney somehow gets elected, he will be the most anti-gun President in our history.

I can't believe the NRA is being duped by this guy.

Not everybody switched to the 9mm, I kept my Gov. issued 1911 until I quit in 1998. The MP's and Law Inforcement all were issued 9mm's though.

If you're voting for Mittens this is pretty much what it boils down to. Romney supporters have had to convince themselves that all of his anti-gun, pro choice, healthcare mandate, climate change science supporter, pro tax increases, etc. etc....and that all of this was bullshit...that he didn't truly support any of it. That's what boggles my mind about people planning to vote for Romney...no one really knows what he stands for because he's been on both sides of just about every issue...
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

Definitely some truth in there. Partially why I'm not voting Obama...but lets stay on topic, this is a thread about Mittens. Sounds like you're voting for Romney this go around. If so, are you struggling with his flip flopping?

Actually, the people on the left that are pissed at Obama are mad because he wasn't just paying lip service during the campaign, he's done what he said he would (at least as much as Congress will let him do). The ACA was actually pretty close to what he advocated for during the campaign. He ended DADT, and isn't supporting DOMA. The only thing he's really done that went against his campaign rhetoric is his stance on MMJ and letting states do their own thing.

The people on the right are pissed because of the same thing. They want him to be this huge socialist hippy lover, when he's really a pretty mainstream left-of-center politician, except, you know, the black thing.

Romney on the other hand will say one thing, do another, then ten years later claim he really did something totally different.
