See my earlier thread...I bent the upper crown on my rock shox boxxer team. I'm not positive, but I think the lowers, lower crown, stem and bars are all still straight. Is it too terrible an idea to just ride it until I can find a new one? The steering should be unaffected if the lower crown and stem/bars are not bent right? The upper crown just grabs the stanchion a bit too far back now compared to the other side. I could see this torque-ing the stanchion in a bad way, or maybe bending the stanchion, which isn't bent yet...
I'm considering bending the upper crown back closer to its original shape...
Whats everyoen think?
