How will we find presidential candidates in the future?

Say we don't totally fuck the country over in the next 30-40 years or so. The generation that will be poised to run for presidency will have grown up in an age that was always on computers. Their whole lives documented and laid out to see. I assume most people have made some statements on forums, facebook, email, etc that would probably be fodder for an opponent in a presidential election cycle. Shit, even Joe Paterno's ultimate downfall was an email. What happens when facebook, and twitter and TGR and whatever are used for ammunition to attack a candidates character? It will be interesting to say the least.

Screw candidates. I'll be going to Obama's Gulag.

Hopefully, middling, natural, youthful indiscretions will become exactly what they are. Irrelevant.

come on... you know that won't happen. Say some dude in his then early 60s and today early 20s calls someone a retard online. Or says to stop acting like a faggot. You think if that info got out the other side wouldn't use it? Do you think every person 21 years old KNOWS if they are running for president or not when they get older?

What if facebook was out when Obama was blowing lines and smoking pot? Or GWB for that matter? Or Kerry, GHWB, Clinton, Rmoney, etc. You think if we saw into when they were early 20s life we would think of them the way we do now? Well, on a couple of those yes...

Over 313 million people. Not all of them are dumb fucks on the internet or in real life, though it does seem that most that choose to go into politics are. Big money always seems to have a way of filtering out the candidates it wants anyway.

It'll get to a point where certain children are raised to be in politics. They'll have their lives limited from day one as to what they say, do, think and who they associate with.
