Thread: Not able to use any tools to post

When I try to start a new thread...

Not able to use anything like fonts, size, color, bold, etc

nothing happening when i click on the Insert image button

If I hit "your media" button says I need to be logged in , but I am

all dead...anyone else with this problem?

hmmmm, no expert, but just started a test thread and it worked fine. Did you try the stuff like closing the tab TGR is in, re-opening it, re-starting machine, etc? Anybody else having this issue?

I have been having a lot of issues with the tools for a while now. Can't pin down when its an issue though. Seems its mostly when trying to cnp from another site. Even image urls. It is frustrating mostly because its inconsistent. I have to manually enter a lot of img and quote tags especially.

I think I figured out some of my issue. If you "paste as plain text" all the tools work. It seems that when just hitting "paste" the text and code is posted which fucks stuff up. But not in all threads. Like, for example threads in Ask TGR. Wonder why threads in Ask TGR seem to not have any issues I have in other threads. I wonder if there is some minor tweak in the code.

I have changed nothing on my puter and the problem has mysteriously gone away. So, someone somewhere fixed something. Now if I could only figure out why some people's pictures post only as a blue rectangle with a question mark. ??

Are they pics posted recently? Wondering if pics posted 3-5 weeks ago are a bit suspect, since then not so much.

good example. I see a fairly hot chick w/cleavage. It's at 480x640, but if i click it, um, cute outfit.

what you gotz for machine/os/browser? I'm on a stupid Dell. Stupid. I'll pm ya a couple other ideas...

edit: works fine on iPad but not on 3GS/older os, which give the box with red x dealybobber. Hmmm.

Also using a mac and was able to see the boobs just fine with 3 different browsers. Run your system updates and repair permissions.

sent it off to the webgurus since my old iPhone also has a glitch, but yeah, i was going to suggest: log out of TGR. Restart. Log back in. Then again i don't know shite about computers...

^yeah, any image that is uploaded to TGR via the "attach" tags I can't see on my iphone using the app either. If I use safari on the iphone I can see it. I just like looking at boobs.

I can't see 80% of the images while using the android app.

All the tools seem to be working for me as long as I always "paste as plain text". If I just do a normal paste the tools don't work. I assume some sort of html is getting copied. This is even when copying from another page on TGR, or even using the reply with quote button.
