Solly STH 14 vs 914 Heel Travel
So I picked up some 192 Bent Chetlers drilled for what appears to be Salomon STH 14/16 bindings. I have some 914s that fit nicely in the existing holes. Problem is they won't quite accept my 325 boots without excessive forward pressure. I'm curious if the STH heel might have more rearward travel than the 914 when mounted in the same holes? Or, when mounted in the same holes, do they accomodate the same range of BSLs?
I'm not opposed to buying some STH 14s if they will accomodate my 325 BSL in the existing holes which put me at -2.5, which is about where it seems I want to be. Any info appreciated!

Probably easier to just remount the heel track 1.5cm back (and re-use the holes drilled for the toes.)
You'll only add four holes to each ski, save yourself $200, and be assured that your forward pressure is safely accommodated.
Also consider whether you have the correct boot size (many people don't.)

I believe the adjustability of the 914 is very similar to that of the sth14. As stated before, it would be easier/more cost efficient to just mount the heels back a bit or the toes forward a bit (~1-2 cm should do the trick.)
It is better to die young having lived than to die old having watched.

Thanks for the info. I located a heel ass'y locally and arranged to borrow it for a quick test fit.
Thanks again for all the input!
