TR: Dunderberg, 7/12/12
On Thursday dookey67 and I skied two areas near Dunderberg Peak - Hidden Glacier and Jack's Glacier.
There were other skiable patches there such as the "Europe Patch", but these two would provide enough vertical for one fun day.

No shit. It it's over 6' foot deep, I would not want my tele gear strapped to my feet!
Hey Vets, I'll be up that way this weekend. Were you able to drive to the base of the peak or does that road not go?

Thanks man. Ya, I've been up that road before. Sometimes you can't get past that first big patch on the ridge.
Have a bunch of 10-17 yo boys with me this weekend and want to take them up there to mess around. Maybe I'll throw the boards in the truck to show them I'm the best skier on the mountain!
Thanks for all of your TR's. Good stuff.

You are welcome.
There are a couple of closer patches that should still be skiable. The "Europe Patch" to looker's left above the lake (Jack's Lake or as dookey calls it "Alien Head Lake") still goes. There is also another patch over the ridge above the lake as well as a few other scattered patches.
