    PSA - 128GB Samsung SSD - $89 shipped

Stumbled upon this today while being a fucking nerd. Killer deal for anyone looking to get into the SSD phase.

No harder than bending Salomon brakes... but likely easier than putting together some damn FKS clamps - stupid spring..

U end up buying that HD? Let me know how that goes. I'm curious how that might affect the warranty on a brand new comp, but it would make a sweet upgrade on a 2-3 year old computer.

going to put that baby in my macbook pro. the side by side comparisons with the ssd's compared to normal drives are pretty unreal.

.....I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record

Slapped this thing in my 13" MBP... thing screams. Took all of 15 minutes to install and another 30 minutes to reimage the drive with the OS. Well worth the $90.

Did you have to remove your old hardrive or is it small enough to have both in there?

you have to remove the old HDD. The SSD is same size and fits in the same housing. You can buy a housing that will replace the DVD-RW drive and can put your old HDD in there. Never done it myself.

Mods - any chance we can move this over to Tech Talk? The sale is over.
