standard ski boot sole height?
Tentatively planning a hybrid set-up allowing free-heel NTN bindings to be used in combination with some integral Nordica bindings: NTN mounted to shaped plastic plate, plate clamped into alpine bindings:
1. What's the standard alpine boot toe and heel ledge height where the alpine binding clamps down?
2. Thoughts on what type of plastic to use for the plate? UHMWPE is what I use for my mounting shims, but it seems to
flexible to be only anchored at the front and back edges.
Feel free to point out any flaws in the concept that make it a fool's pursuit .......
