Thread: Free DH Tires in Park City

I've got 2 used 26" DH tires collecting dust amongst my bike stuff. One is an Intense 2.5 (heavy as balls, is it double ply? I have no idea - I'm an XC weenie) and the other is a 2.5 Minion DHR. The Intense has more life left on it, but both are useable for a little while. I live in Park Meadows and work from home so I am home all the time. PM me if you want em and they are yours.

those old intense DH tires are more like triple ply. they seriously feel like my moto tires.

There were a few models that were actually quadruple ply, back in the day.

Gone! I'm pretty sure the Intense is heavier than my road bike frame.

Hah, yeah I remember those Intenses. They are like semi truck rubber. I bet I put two years in on those and they still looked brand new.

I should put a set of those in with my food storage, in the event I can't get new tires after the Zombies get here, I'd still be set for life.

Josh, I think these tires were actually yours (on the Gemini when I got it back from you). The Gem is long gone, as are my DH/freeride days I'm afraid. . .
