Engagement Photo Session- Boulder, CO
Despite smoke from the fires (I actually think it acted as a nice diffuser), I shot an engagement session yesterday at Chatauqua Park in Boulder. It's a great location for portrait photos with the mountain backdrop and the park setting. The bride was a grad school classmate of mine and wanted an informal-type shoot, much like most of my other sessions.
Most of these shots were taken with my Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 lens, with a few of them coming from my Canon 85mm f/1.8 and the 15-85mm IS lens.

Nice set -- like the first and last two the best. Not too stoked on the desaturated processing. Lighting looks a bit harsh -- couple seems to be squinting in most of the shots? Wondering if you shot any at f/1.8 with the 85? Given the subject distance, I'd think you could get a wide enough DoF and still get a creamy background.
Couple seems relaxed, natural, and having fun. Good to see that you're getting paid gigs.Gallery

The light is really poor, and most appear overexposed.
