    VOTING - MPC # 86 - Stress Relief (ends 6/28)

It was really tough to narrow this down to 5. I really had seven I wanted to put in the voting but c'est la vie.

Wow, tough call. So tough I'm not going to vote right now. I'll come back to this tomorrow and see if one jumps out more.

I have a comment but I'll save it.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Fuzz got my vote. Nice clean image and well exposed. Like the composition and looks downright relaxing.

Some real nice shots but the pic that says "stress relief" the most to me is Pow's.

What I wanted to say was I wish taps pic has a little bit more light in the hands area. I find my eyes struggling to see whats going on there. That pic is great.

^^Might have voted for Taps but the detail is totally gone in the blacks. Also makes a potentially dynamic scene look very static. The thought of using the reflection in the back ground with the bokeh is pretty cool. Obiously the odd man out on this thought though.

Nope, I feel you on that one. Would have liked it but totally under exposed for the focus on the image. If it was a pure silhouette I would have liked it more or a comp of several exposures (HDR) would have done it more justice IMHO. That's what I had to do on my submission. Super bright out the window, really dark inside. Had to comp 3 images to make it look balanced.

Cool. Hooray. First winning entry in a MPC.

Great feedback, guys, really appreciate the dialogue. The image is pretty much straight out of the camera, but the points are totally valid and constructive.

My home computer is at the shop, but I'll get the next MPC up tomorrow morning.
