    Shipping Shred gear to Chile

    Hey All,

    I'm headed to Chile for some August pow, but I'm also spending July on the road in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, and trying to avoid lugging my board and other gear around. Does anyone know a decent, not horrifically expensive way to ship stuff to Santiago, or thereabouts?

    Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

    DHL has an extensive network everywhere but the US. They use resellers here and discount heavily.

    If you can start and finish the non-skiing portion of your trip in the same city, many hotels and hostels would hold your ski bags for you while you travel.
    For example, fly to Lima, ditch your gear at a hotel there, go up through Colombia and Ecuador, return to Lima to fly (or bus) to Santiago.
