I've got a first gen android phone that I could unlock and send. Just sitting around at this point. What's the story?

Huckbucket. sent you a pm. In the meantime here's a story
Here's the story,
Of a lovely lady,
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls.
All of them had hair of gold,
Like their mother,
The youngest one in curls.
Here's the story,
Of a man named Brady,
Who was busy with three boys of his own.
They were four men,
Living all together, but they were all alone.
Till the one day when the lady met this fellow,
and they knew they was much more than a hunch.
That this group,
Must somehow form a family.
That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch,
The Brady Bunch, the Brady Bunch
That's the way we became the Brady Bunch

Really do not have to worry at all if it is unlocked- most any Verizon contract cell phone will work and activate on PagePlus (since Pageplus is using Verizon for their prepaid service). Probably best to stay away from any 4G models out though as PP does not support 4G and you have to jump through a few hoops to get the phone working without the 4G.
Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, Droid 3, many of the Incredible series models, Samsung and LG have some also. Just get the ESN or MEID and verify the number before pulling the trigger on a purchase. Cowboom (Best Buy division) and Ebay or Craigslist should have a number of models that will work.
Sprint CDMA phones are harder to get going, but some can do the changes needed to have them work on PP.

RShea thanks for the great input. Just got page plus and am using my old flip phone that dose not support the data network. Doing research on phones that will work for me. Have never had a data plan or smart phone so looking forward to more tech...
