He won't win but I do like his steeze. Certainly he's got more support than 100 ppl. He seems pretty reasonable on most things. His tax policy is a little to crazy for me...and some other stuff I don't agree with. The fact that he's GOP and agrees with the science of climate change is refreshing. Anyhow, as you were...

I wasted my vote last time and I will likely waste my vote this time as well. I'd much rather waste it than vote for a douchebag.

DBS, you we will NEVER get rid of the 2 party system. The only hope is to get your people to take over an existing party. Ron Paul knows this. (Because he's smart like me)
Here's what CAN happen in the real world. Repubs morph into Teas morph into Libertarians.
It's a very short trip from Tea to Libertarian. Tea people want constitutional freedom. (libertarianism) They just can't get there in one big step. Some shit takes time.I've been to two state fairs and a goat fuck and never seen anything like this!!

No, not voting for Obama. I'll throw away my vote, possibly on GJ...need to see the full range of crackpots that are on the ballot come voting time. You a GJ guy? I completely get why people like him...the RP love really baffles me, especially after his quasi Mittens endorsement. Anyhow...don't worry DBS, not voting Obama, he hasn't stuck to liberal principals that I value. Word

Obviously, you didn't go to his issues page.
Civil Liberties:
of law.Civil liberties are so foundational to America that the first eight amendments to the Constitution address them directly. These amendments enshrine government’s duty to protect individual liberties, including the rights to free speech and free association.
But today, government has created for itself sweeping powers to monitor the private lives of individuals and otherwise intrude upon our daily activities, our households and our businesses. The extent of the government’s reach today would be unrecognizable to the Founders.
Much of the recent erosion in civil liberties has occurred in the name of national security. But we can – and must -- combat threats to our safety while adhering to due process and the rule
Internet Freedom:
It is not a coincidence that the one element of our modern economy that has been uniquely left free of government interference has created equally unique growth and transformation. An Internet free of regulation and taxation has produced innovation and enhancements to quality of life almost unparalleled in human history. If the market demands Internet services, speed and access, the market will provide them without any help from the government. The government, with its regulatory foot in the door, will inevitably end up attempting to regulate and referee content, speech, and commerce.
Foreign Policy:
Maintaining a strong national defense is the most basic of the federal government’s responsibilities. However, building schools, roads, and hospitals in other countries are not among those basic obligations. Yet that is exactly what we have been doing for much of the past 10 years.Given trillion-dollar deficits, America simply cannot afford to be engaged in foreign policy programs that are not clearly protecting U.S. interests. There is nation-building and rebuilding to be done right here at home.
Our military should remain the most potent force for good on Earth. To do this, we should resort to military action as the last option and only as provided in the Constitution.
Yep, all sounds horrible

For all your blathering about how fucked up America is how fucked up this is and how fucked up that is, I'd think our be on board with the philosophy of libertarinaiasm. Your example of the Idaho compound yahoos is spot on , but they're the fringe just like the fringes of both parties that take extreme, intransigent positions that create the deadlock of real progress on issues that benefit the country and not just their party.

Maybe he's not on board with libertarianism because it's shallow sophistry?
Like the bit about building schools in foreign countries that dbs is going gooey over. US foreign aide can win friends and protect interests; we don't spend that much on actual foreign aid. Much of it is soft subsidies for US businesses. It's not the foreign aid, per se, that's the problem it's the web of cronyism and paybacks that make it suck. And the ivy league assholes we pay 6-figures to administer. Even with all that waste that shits dirt cheap compared to "the most potent fighting force in the world".Lord King of the Beater-Kooks

And the democratic and republican parties aren't full of shit today ? Again taking the fringe out of any of these parties would leave something of actual substance that one could look to as a way to actually elicit change without thinking party first, re election results second , country a distant third and citizens way down that list in an almost non existent fourth.

The answers are ONLY in the fringe. The center is stuffed with guys like Bush.
The Dems elected thier fringe with Obama. We got what you'd expect from fringe liberalism. A statist lawless disaster on the verge of dictatorship.
Time for the other "fringe" to give it a try. FUCKING SAD when people who believe in the constitution are considered "Fringe".I've been to two state fairs and a goat fuck and never seen anything like this!!

1. You are a fool DBS. Obama is a radical revolutionary. Whatever you THINK he is stems from the fact that he can't show all his cards because has to get re-elected. Oddly, He has shown his cards. Anyone with a brain can see it. If he gets a 2nd term, even dummies like you will see it. That fact that I have to explain this to you shows how easily you are manipulated by Obama and his media.
2. I didn't say Romney was fringe right. I said it's time for fringe right. (People who believe in individual liberty and individual responsibility)I've been to two state fairs and a goat fuck and never seen anything like this!!
