    City fishing stoke.

For those of you living the dream in the city. Get out there and fish. Find a stream, a pond or a beach. No need to travel.
A couple of shots i took today. 1st day of summer in this never ending rainy city.

    Ad your city shot.

What if "Alternative" energy wasn't so alternative ?

Nice! I've been exploring the Boston coastline a bit this spring. Lots of great spots you just need to be creative.

Although I'm not from 'the city', I live in a small town north of victoria but I do most of my salt water fishing between victoria and sooke. SO I get some nice views of baker, victoria and hurricane ridge.
hurricane ridge (race rocks to the left, just out of the pic)

Lots of good fighting in victoria water front, launch your boat and you can have your lines down in 5 mins from the ramp. Not far to go for some of vancouver islands best salmon and halibut fishing!

When I was a kid I did lots of flounder and striper fishing with my father walking distance from my Grandparents house in South Boston, that was when Boston Harbor was a real mess, I'm sure fishing is much better now.

I grew up fishing on the south shore of Long Island, the only landmarks we had there were the pink hotel in Long Beach and NYC, these are much better.
