So I asked this question in the other non-fantasy thread but it got deleted: who has a link to a page where I can watch the TDF on my fancy computing device?

Sagan did make it through and ended up fifth or sixth. Well done for him, feel bad for Cav

Amazed that Danielson stayed in with a separated shoulder, and Tony Martin is still in with a broken scaphoid.

    I love this picture:

Decent people shouldn't live here...they'd be happier somewhere else.

I got to believe Martin sticks around until the first rest day just so he can do the first ITT.

Tomorrow is pancake flat except for a little uphill sprint and some big time turns leading in

It should be interesting if Sagan can take it or if the flat sprinters can make it up the hill. Probably some combo of Sagan/EBH/Greipel/Goss

Gilbert seems to like these uphill finishes as well, if he can make his move at the right time tomorrow might be his day

(Which would be just fine as far as the 1st place Clean Bottle Boyz are concerned... )

Agreed on Martin. He has to be hurting though

And I endorse your prediction for tomorrow!

Damn, the margin between stage win and defeat was thin today! Sagan was right on Griepel's wheel when the shit hit the fan - he goes down, Griepel wins the stage.

Looked to me like Petacchi caused that whole mess by hooking Farrar.

If you look closely on the slo-mo, you can see Farrar's tubular tire fly off the rim as his wheel goes sideways. Fucking crazy.

Fuckin' Farrar. Dude has the worst _____ of anyone in the pro peloton.

    a) luck
    b) bike handling skills
    c) breath
    d) all of the above

^^^ I will give you the luck part, but not the bike handling and wind parts.

From what I saw of that crash, Petacchi's rear wheel crossed into Farrar's front. That almost always results in a quick trip to the deck no matter what you do - doesn't help that his front tire came off the rim either - adhesion is a bit impaired when its rim on asphalt.

You want to see some crappy bike handling skills - watch the Schlecks and Contadope on descents. Jens Voigt isn't that great either.

then Farrar goes nuts and tries to storm the Argos-Shimano bus to get at Veelers. It's probably the most productive thing he's done all year.

Very bad form. Watching NBCs replay four times, I don't think Farrar should be pissed at the Argos guys,at all. If he's gonna be pissed at someone, look first at himself then at the lack of lead out help from his team.

From what I saw, Veelers was third wheel on his lead out train, had the line, and Farrar tried (unsuccesfully) to move him to the right. Veelers leaned back on Farrar to maintain his position. Veeler's bars were ahead to Farrar's, so Tyler isn't going to win that joust. Then Petachhi moved right, touched Farrar's front wheel and shit hit the fan.

    Anybody see it differently?

Andre Griepel has good bike handling skills watch this

    http://www.steephill.tv/players/720/...399756&yr=2012

Farrar was trying to get into a spot he didn't have the legs for and when he tried to barge his way in failed and got closed out. Yeah Petacchi takes out
his front wheel, but thats after he bounces off Veeler who is just holding his line.

To me, it looks more like desperation and lack of team support. Farrar hasn't won in a year and I don't think he's the kind of sprinter than can win w/o a good
    lead out.

^^^Yup, saw that. Pretty good when you can stay upright while skidding sideways because there's a body sliding against your wheels.

I was impressed with Sagan's skills too - he was getting shoved over by Griepel, and probably could have made it around if Farrar's bouncing bike hadn't blocked his path.
