We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Great stoke! The combination of wavy snow shots and tummy shot is particularly artistic.

the season was very good after two dry ones, yes... now to make south america happen...hope everyone has a nice (short) summer!
The big glacier is Gepatschferner, second largest in the eastern alps, only Pasterze is larger. In that particular picture you see the area where it meets Kesselwandferner on the left, we are almost at the summit of fluchtkogel. border to italy is also somewhere in the picture. high mountain in the bg is weißkugel and brandenburgerhaus is on the rib of rock just below / in front of weißkugel. I wrote my diploma/masters thesis about Gepatschferner so we have a special relationship.
the wintery looking stuff was all in the more or less immediate vicinity of innsbruck/AT, the huts are in the high ötztal and stubai alps on the AT/IT border, except for the smaller one that is half buried, which is on the swiss side of the silvretta range.Ich bitte dich nur, weck mich nicht.

Nice one klar!
You peeps extended the season quite nicely.
I however switched to summer mode a bit earlier (end of May).
Currently packing up for beach vacation in the Toscana. Should not bee that bad either with good food, wine and gelati.
Checking back in the fall for the wintery stuff.
