It's on the flood plain of the James River which runs from the Blue ridge to the Ches. bay. No drought conditions I'm aware of. It actually poured that morning before moving off, staying over cast and keeping the temps and humidity down.

Yep AA lots of fum, especially for the boys. Shooting, hanging by the pool, pig picking, some good bourbon, a few beers for the boys, and cigars not a bad way to spend a weekend on the river. Ragnar kept everybody paying attention and careful with the firearms on and off the firing line. He was a national shooting champ in Iceland, dude can bust 100 yd targets with a hand gun like he was born with a gun in his hand.
