Frostbite, in the middle of June, in my livingroom

So I'm now in the running for this years Darwin awards. Short story shorter: ice pack slipped below my shirt and was in direct contact with lower back for 25-minutes or so this morning. I know, stupid Anyway, warmed it up slowly and its moved from greyish-white to red, swollen and angry. My biggest concern now is blisters. I'm scheduled to spend 5 days touring the east side of Rainier starting on Wednesday and I'm concerned about my pack tearing the spot all up. Any advice for aiding healing and heading off potential blisters?

Pretty sure there is nothing you can do if you really have second degree frostbite.

Ouch. Aspirin daily and I wouldn't voluntarily load that spot with a multiday mountaineering pack. What size area?

Might not be as bad as I originally thought. It's been 24 hours and no blisters. However, it's still inflamed and tender. It's about 4"x2". Anybody's guess on whether I'm out of the woods with regard to blisters.
