BD Quadrants with Intuition liners
I suffered through last week with stock BD liners and want to switch to Intuition. Can anyone offer the model liner they used in similar switch...I was always partial to the wrap around, but not sure if it has enough volume up top.

Or call Intuition. They're quite helpful with questions like yours.

I have BD factors, and I had some Intuition fitting issues. They might be similar in their last to the Quadrant. I am very tight in my 28 factors, so I went with the plug power wrap due to the thinner liner. The foot ended up fitting very well, but my skinny ankles and calves did not fill up the cuff. I had to send the plug power wraps back and they exchanged them for standard power wraps. I used size 29 liners in a 28 shell. Things are very snug now, but with another moulding the fit should be better in the foot, and the upper cuff fits awesomely. They really stiffened up the boots also.

That was my first issue - not being able to get the top buckles tight enough to keep heel from slipping up. But using them as a spring go to boot I realized the limitations in the fit of their liner from comfort pov....I could spend a week straight in my spirit 4's the day after I molded them the first time. I am going to call intuition as IcBD mentioned and use whatever offers the most volume up top in cuff area.

good discussion below...meathelmet is my hero in this thread
I roll w/ powerwraps in my quadrants. dig em' for both in and outbounds.
edit: i find the powerwraps to have more than enough volume up top...maybe too much

I talked to Crystal at Intuition, and she recommended the next size larger since I have such a tight shell fit. Go to their sizing chart and trace your foot like they recommend, and then decide on a liner size

i put PW's in my quadrants, and I just can't get the ankles tight and comfortable at the same time + they give me heel blisters. 2 seasons on quadrants and I'll probably be boot shopping this fall.

Socks.
2-3 seasons with quads and about 100+ days of touring. Once in a while i get blisters, just under the anklebone. Reason? Socks. 100% of my probs are caused by thicker socks that has the strucktural weave around the ankles/sole.
Socks without them = no probs. Amazing how a small difference makes...uuh..a big difference.
Personally the heel fit is so superb, that i would be willing to sacrifice quite a bit to have it. If the blisters are a prob, try changin socks, like to 2 superthins if necessary. Or have you used compeeds to protect the skin?
