Winter Park area trail info
Headed to Winter Park area for family vacation in July. Planning a day of lift-served riding at the bike park, but would like some recommendations on some XC-ish singletrack too. Thanks!

Tons of fun options. Personal favorite is the Tipperary Loop. Not hard to find info on. If you're staying at the base, the D trails (D1,D2,D3) are fun with good stuff all in that complex. Zoom, Flume and Chainsaw are great as well.
Hit me up when you're there, as we are there often as well.

Um yeh...tons of trails. At the risk of sounding like Jaded Local, of the above listed trails, Chainsaw is the only one I ride. It really depends on what you are looking for, with the exception of Flume, none of those trails are proper single track. My best advise is to ask at the local shops or find someone that actually knows the trail system beyond what is on the map.

There's a great XC trail system up behind the Safeway in Fraser, just down the road from WP; you could bike there from WP base but it'd be a ways, better if you have a car. Check local bike shops for maps.

Not a ton of experience with the area, but I'm with Foggy_Goggles. The best stuff I've ridden is what's not on the map. The good news is, it's not hard to find even if you're just poking around blindly.
