Rainier Conditions/Beta?
Has anyone been up (or more importantly down) the Fuhrer Finger on Rainier recently. I know Davenport and those guys skied it two weeks ago, but there weren't any super relevant pictures in the article (http://www.tetongravity.com/blogs/15...t2-6134039.htm). And not much beta about how well the finger, thumb, or Nisqually are holding up.
Headed out there next weekend, hoping the Nisqually isn't broken up to the point where it's a huge pain in the ass.

Keep an eye on turns all year and northwest climber forums.
Lot's of late season snowfall in WA. Several feet up that high the past few days alone.

Any recent reports would be irrelevant now anyway, given how much new snow has fallen. When we actually had spring-like weather in April, I expected the routes to fall out of condition earlier than they had the past couple years. That has completely changed in the weeks since, and if you get a weather window next weekend, I am certain coverage will not be an issue. Avy conditions might, but of course that all depends on what happens between now and then.
...but hey, it's free advice on the internet, right? -Mustonen

Thanks. We've got our eye on the weather. The reason I asked is because I haven't been able to actually see anything from the web cams recently.

whiteout conditions tend to do that.
