Thread: 2012 Maggot Cycling Jersey

After thinking about it a second, I feel a TGR on one arm and FKNA on the other with whatever you guys choose front and back is a must. Maggot was good on deep back pockets last time. Saucer Boy or Sprocket Rocket is a good principal subject on front or back. I felt wheel snow flake was cool on front

I'm in for a road one as I missed out on the jerseys last time.

I'm in for large FR.

I'm working with Blizzard's girl who's a graphic designer to get this done. Unfortunately, my internet was down all last week, so I didn't do shit on it and I've got finals this week. Mid semester break next wee, so hopefully banging out some designs.

There is a slight chance I may have to bow out of collecting the money depending on who we go through. I'm getting ready to start working for CSG which owns sugoi, cannondale etc and I'm not sure what I'm allowed to do or not. If anything I'll see if I can score mags some discounts on clothing.

Spoke with Blizzard's girl last night about some stuff. Finals again in 2 weeks. Summer sessions are a bitch. The plan is to use Sugoi, so let me know Gman

OK...So then...

I remember you had to get permission to use the tgr & pmgear logo's. Is that still cool?

I would be happy to get the same again, in a different color.
But not real dark. Turquoisey-blues? Purple? Metallic Bronze or Gold?
Black has to be The. Most. Common. Color. in "performance" togs. Surprised peeps are asking for this. Bloody goths

(If I recall, last time you had trouble just finding enough peeps to fill one order? Plenty of talk, but no follow through huh?)

Please keep the Snowflake, or something Winter-themed. And the mtn peaks at the bottom of the shirt are a cool idea.
I think having Maggot across the back is a must. Maybe somewhere on the front too? Smaller/partial graphic?
Having some more ski/winter images would be cool.

Two 5 week summer sessions as a warm welcome to grad school.

We're working on something. I'd rather ask forgiveness than permission on the logos, though I assume its likely still cool since I'm not turning any profit on any of these. Sugoi's new order specs are a little different. I was thinking of taking Maggot off of it and being a little more subtle.

After getting the FKNA LS tshirt and finding it's the smallest size M I've ever worn, I'd vote for a brand of jersey that's common enough that I could jump into an REI or Performance to check fit.

I def want the PMGear logo & FKNA on it... I'm sure Splat would have no prob with it... I like Maggot and the peaks across the bottom...

I'd prolly be in for two... a SS Evo Relaxed Roadie and a FS LS both in XL

I'm in for a FR. I could probably get a couple other people to buy em too.

Use last year's overall design, put 'Got change?' on the back, in place of the 'MAGGOT' to make it more subtle (possibly use the same lettering as the stickers). Definitely not black... way too fucking hot. I'd say go with a sky blue down low on the jersey, fading into a cloudy sky, with snowflakes coming down (think blue sky, with clouds bringing on the puke). Get rid of the black strips on the arms... no reason to make it hotter than necessary, maybe make it a two-tone gray. Nix the arm logos, personally. Too much going on.

That's what I'd like to see.

Most mags don't ride Bros. I don't. Many mags ride for or rep other ski companies and cannot sport logos of a ski company that they do not represent. I do not want a PM Gear Jersey; I won't buy one. Are we going to put DPS, 0N3P, K2, PowderMag, and Freeride Systems on there too? Those do not belong on the mag jersey either. The TGR Mags associate with certain brands, but that isn't what we are about. TGR is our home. Even if you want to put TGR on it, you gotta ask TGR420 about that. We want a jersey that all mags can be comfortable with.

Agreed on the no PM gear logo. It has nothing to do with being a mag, IMO.

I thought "FKNA" was pretty much apt for what gets us stoked, PMGear or not.
Maggot is a cool/unique signifier...and references the pre-tgr days.
Also am V happy/proud to sport the TGR logo.
I thought the actual development of the BRO was through interweb dialogue, so it is a little bit different to the rest? Assumed it was from this site?

Yeah... can't argue.. just last year's did rock PMG's logo & FKNA... and I do ski Bros.. so my preference would be to have it on my jersey... but I comprehend..

I strongly agree with Lindahl, avoid dark colors that make the jersey hotter than necessary.





The rational for only having stuff at the bottom of the back was lots of people wear small packs so with that design you could still read everything.

I think the change for a nickel? has to stay. It's the TGR calling card.
I'd prefer the TGR logo over the maggot, though.



I think it'd be very cool to have this logo (just one) across the chest.

I still have mine... like the logo, if anything I'd say stick with something similar to the maggot. I'd be in for a road style. I don't find the DH style particularly comfortable.
