    Vnacouver Island fishing 2012

Winter springs this year have been slow. With the return of the summer springs from the north things have been picking up.

The real big springs are starting to show up and the Sockeye have been reported to have been showing up in Port Alberni. should be a good season for fish again this year!

Fishing has been real good off S. Vancouver Island. Lots of Springs are coming in and the Coho's have showed up so it has been non-stop action.
Between my gf and I, we got 8 springs 2 being white springs(released 5), and a dozen or so Coho. Most Coho were wild and you are only allowed to keep hatchery coho so we relesed all but a couple.
