    NYC Album covers

almost threw this in the perfect thread but didnt want to dilute the high level discussion there

missing a few, and one isnt an album, but it is still nicely done

Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore on sixth st. missing.

It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.

Last time I was down St Marks looked like the Westchester Galleria.

But I digress, that was a cool link.

    That's actually a good idea.

I always thought I was a pretty good Who fan... I did not know that The Kids Are Alright cover was done there (duh).
Was heading in to NYC yesterday. Typically I would take the train all the way in to Grand Central. Remembering Woodsy's post I thought ok... I'm gonna jump out at 125 and make my way to 116 and then 92nd. Armed with my camera phone this is what I got....Thanks Woodsy...

Well ... first I started out with some mileage and came across this.... Don't mess with SIDI... (yes... thats real hair on my leg)...

On the train, spotted a massive rock slide from the Palisades... Scientists at Lamont Observatory recorded about 30 seconds of heavy seismic activity, people on the other side of the Hudson called police reporting anything from earthquakes to bombs going off...

    Got off at 125th street

    Stopped in for 1

    Stairs up to monument

    I'm the white guy...

Found a very cool liitle bar/rest...this is the downstairs...

    Cut through Central Park...

    Found my destination...

Snuck two "bad" photos before the tried to remove me....

    Continued on...
