Room for rent in Whistler for the month of August?

Hot damn! I just got the OK from boss man to work remotely for a month.

Does anyone have a line on a room for rent in Whistler for August? I need wifi, some space to store my bikes and gear and a place to sleep at night, that's about it. Closer to the village the better I suppose or as long as it's on the bus route.

I'd also be open to tips on finding something like this. I've been checking craigslist, is there any other local sites that might be under the radar that I should be checking?

Funny enough, I have something very similar to that parked outside. I lived out of it for 3 weeks up there last season. That was vacation though. I'm going to head up there and be somewhat responsible so I'll need a legit place to stay with reliable internet.

FYI you can hookup WiFi at the Whistler Library, its a nice library right in the village. i think you need a library card to get on it though, but that isnt too complicated...

Staff housing is cheap and open to anyone in the summer I think. Might be hard to find something for just one month otherwise. You do run the risk of getting stuck with party animal roommates.. but you would anywhere I guess. Pique classifieds will have postings too.

Bumping this as it's getting closer. Anyone know of anything or looking for a monthlong roomate?

Also, what are the good areas to live? Is it enough to be close to the bus line for access to the village or is that a pain in the ass?

Live in cay heights or white gold. Village if you can get a snazzy summer rental that you wouldn't be able to afford during the winter(this happens) check places like glaciers reach. if you are more of a single track guy, then alpine is super sick and much closer to rainbow and green lakes, although further from lost lake.

Everything is so close via a paved network of trails
