Impressive. Those boys have been getting it done in fine style. Very tricky route finding below the pic. Be nice to see the complete line. Skied the traditional west face a few yrs ago and stopped and looked at the north for a long time on our way to Columbia. No real clean line with tons of holes. Major props. I'm not sure, Ptor may have skied tnf. Alot of vert of holes to link together

Your probably correct. I might be confused with an attempt and a non trad ski line on n twin. West face? Of n twin

I'm not familiar with that line. there's a ton of unskied area around that part of the Rockies along with the CUmmins area though. That N face must be the proudest line there

Bad ass. Nice work by all involved. You wouldn't catch me anywhere near faces like that, but I guess that's not saying much!

We skied the W. face in the early 90's, which we thought was rad for a couple skinny little guys on skinny little tele skis. I don't think we even looked at the N. face as a ski line, not even in our imaginations. Things sure have changed.

Is that funky hut still there. on the moraine to the W. of Clemenceau?

I'd post more pictures Stan and keep this thread alive but people on this site are internet keyboard jackoff hacks that really aren't interested in big lines because they can't possibly conceive of anything outside their podunk little bumps - they'd rather rag on some poor douchebag missing out of Alta.

haha, lots of stupid stuff lately. kind of repetitive and embarassing for this place. i think there's lots of lurkers that appreciate threads like this.it can be intimidating, especialy when good stoke gets bashed. its fun watching what these amazing skiers can do.probably never do lines like these but fun to dream, so BUMP in the hopes of more greatness

ps; good link as well Stan. looks like challenging conditions

Here's the S face of Sir Sandford from a picture I took a while back from Rogers Pass. Alta can suck its dick

Here's Tusk, Irvine and Shipton which are on the other side of Clemenceau. We skied from 40ft below Irvine getting stopped by facets

Clemenceau S face from the Tusk Glacier. The W face is in the skyline. The N face is behind.

http://www.leelau.net/2007/fairymead...orncolpano.jpg - big ass pano of all Bryce, Clemenceau from Ironman - Unicol in the Adamants area so maybe not so good to embed. I remember being so proud that I scouted an iceclimb line off Pioneer Peak and skied it. That's sweet f all compared to some of these other lines

The lurkers certainly appreciate these TRs. I was on top of Clemenceau in the late 90s. Only skinny skis though. Beautiful spot.
Thanks for posting. Brings back some great memory's.

Great line but that entire area looks to have serious, untapped potential.
I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

Here's one. North Face of Tour Ronde. Skied by it in 2006. Not a huge face but looks nicely steep. I wonder if it has been skied. This is near the south end of the Jordan Range of the Monashees traverse:

Saw this on Biglines. The rockies have been going off this spring. This, Mt. Bryce, Sandford ect ect.

The lack of interest on TGR seems kind of fucked up. Too many blowhards that can't think outside of their own pathetic resort bump.
