FS: Dyanfit TLT5 Performance 25.5 - Lightly Used

I'm selling my beloved TLT5Ps after coming to the realization that I bought the wrong size. These are just too short in the toebox for me, as I discovered when my big toes were numb for a week after skiing Shasta a few weeks ago. Fortunately, I found some 26s on here for pretty cheap, so now I'm giving back to gear swap by unloading these guys.

You probably know all about this boot already. If not, check out this thread: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...afit+TLT5+Boot

If you are concerned about sizing, keep in mind that this is the same shell as a 25 and these run somewhat small and are definitely low-volume boots. I encourage you to read the above thread which has lots of sizing info and anecdotes about how these fit vs. other boots.

Used these about 10 days, a few big tours but almost no rock or parking lot walking so the sole is in great shape - only cosmetic issue is some of the paint on the shell wearing a bit. Liner has been cooked once but can be re-molded.

Bought them for $850 new, I'm asking $400 + shipping which should be under $20. Can also be picked up in person in the bay area. Includes the original box and extra goodies (footbeds, liner patches).

BSL is 277mm. My alpine boots (Salomon Falcon Pros) are 25.5 and fit great, so that's why I bought the dynafits in that size. I also usually wear 8.5 or 9 street shoes if that helps. These ones fit me great in the whole foot, they're just a little too short in the toes!

Did you try to punch them? I've got the 26.0 as the shell of the 25.5 felt too short, but now I'm thinking I might need to go to 25.5 to get more control. My forefoot is a little sloppy.

Too bad I've already got my pair and am short on money right now, otherwise I'd love to take these off your hands for that price!

I looked into getting them punched, but the shop in Tahoe that I've worked with before had never done a punch on a grilamid boot before and wasn't too certain about it, and then the season ended.

I'm trying the 26s out on Lassen this weekend, I trimmed the custom footbed from my Alpine boots in and they fit like a dream!

bump for a sweet deal. Though I wouldn't buy these unless you ski a 24.5 boot. With all the foot elongation one gets from such a long stride length on the boot, you will really want that room. But a solid deal no doubt.

I'm interested but, would like to try them on first. I'll PM you when I'm next in the bay and see if we can meet up.

If it helps anyone... I probably couldn't go any smaller in my 26 TLT5P's and I have a 307mm BSL RX130 Lange
If you can't dig it, you ain't got no shovel
