So it's OK for YOU to decide who can screw his neighbor by not paying their fair share.

You suck as a member of society.

    HAH!!! Gotcha!

Now, how am I not paying my fair share? Do you have any idea what my income level is?

Geez, you're rephrasing that a lot. Fair is a rather subjective term, don't you think?

I'm not really deciding what's what. I just have an opnion that runs contrary to yours. And unfortunately you have so much ridiculous rage about it you can't seem to respond without being your usual disrespectful self.

I'm actually an awesome member of society. You're using the stuff I wrote billions of times a day. I don't use anything you've ever done.

I know that you make a shit load of money. That's why I edited what I said very quickly but obviously not quick enough.

Why do you think it's OK for ANYONE to break the law? Especially when it comes to tax cheating. That's not a victimless crime. If someone cheats, the rest of us have to make up the difference.

Well at least you're consistently obvious.

Because the laws are made by the very wealthy to benefit them and not you. And they get the less observant to defend them. And because the tax burden on folks of lower income has a much greater negative impact on them than someone that's making a butt load while paying cap gains and deferred interest taxes.

So if Jow the window washer skizzes his taxes for $5k, that's just as bad as when Jim the investment banker skizzes his for $5M. I guess your morality is tuned differently than mine. At least I don't have to overtly call you a putz.

You say you are a great member of society but you advocate people break the law. That seems like someone who isn't on board with the laws the society as a whole has passed. You might want to re-think your stance.

    Software I presume.

You don't know that you are not indirectly benefitting from what I do but I get paid $X per year so $X must be my possitive contribution to society. Luck for me, my $X is a big enough $X that I'm in the tier of people who actually paid federal income tax. Not in your league I'm sure...

Nope, don't think so. I'm awesome. Just a realist regarding the crafting of tax codes, drug laws and the occasional speedlimit.

Correct. I don't know that. But I'll venture the guess.

You're really weird. I can't imagine what I've written that has you thinking I don't pay income tax. Anyway, rage away d00d.

Do you vote for tax increases? Do you vote against tax increases. If you pay someone to do minor yard work or help you around the house do you file a 1099?

Are you consistent? Do you vote for tax increases, but work the system to avoid paying taxes? Do you vote against tax increases, but follow the letter of the law?

Can we have a serious discussion without name calling and put downs?
We only have property tax in my state so I guess I'm pretty consistent.

Now. now. When I'm in residential areas or neighborhoods where those with disabilitys live, such as DBTs, I respect the speed limit. I go out of my way to slow down even if it obviously doesn't help.

But yes, on highway 410 when stuck behind the train of minivans, I admit that I do become somewhat deft of foot with the accelerator pedal. I mean geez there's 300 hp just sitting there unused, neglected, wanting, desiring, needing my attention.

    Busted.

Following Pilsburydoughboysshredders moral compass on this issue, from now on.... I'm only going to be respecting speed limits I voted to decrease.

I put the question in the context of education or road construction bonds. So in the Galactic Coloring Book, you can color me stupid, but that's what I thought he meant.

Yeah, I was being EXTREMELY general.

Also, here, we have votes on sales tax increases regularly, at the city level, county level, and state level.

More esoterically, if you are voting for a candidate that is on record for supporting tax increases, you are supporting tax increases.

I can almost guarantee you nobody pays all their tax, tax law is a weird mix of old shit that only kind of applies and super specific categories for all the little shit we sometimes do in life. I've been involved in matters were the IRS has essentially said fuck we don't know either lets go to court and let them figure it out.

I would maybe pay more taxes than the law dictates if I could guarantee it only went to a specific activity. I like space, I think its very important but most people don't because they are stupid so I'd give more money to NASA. I don't currently because I know it would just end up buying some more bullets or half a dinner for some congress person.

There certainly are people who want no tax but lets be honest they are living in a fantasy land, I mean what is the real honest alternative to gov't rule.....nobody fucking knows.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

Well lets see, in Montana, no sales tax so forget that, I live outside of city limits so I don't pay any mil levies for education aside from my property taxes and I am totally o.k. pay for education even though I don't have kids. Country taxes are property taxes and since we don't have a sales tax they are a bit higher than some places but again, I am o.k. with that. No candidates in recent memory have run on a platform of, "I want to raise taxes". Many have said they want to increase revenues, same thing but much more murky as to what they actually mean. Take into account that Montana receives quite a bit more in Federal dollars than we pay to the Feds.

All in all I am not sure what you are getting at here except for the usual DBS weirdness but what else is new.

If someone requests Cash or offers a discount for Cash is is not my job to make sure they are paying taxes.

So yes, you were being EXTREMELY VAGUE.

However if you want to reform the Tax Code, I am listening.
