I have never once paid tax on online purchases if it was not included in the checkout. I bet most people don't. I try to buy most big ticket items online or across the boarder in New Hampshire. So let me get this straight....dinner with the girlfriend who has nothing to do with your work, she asks you how work is going. you answer....and THAT'S a business expense?

Are you sure you are not a politician?

Yes. If The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals can use tax dollars to the tune of $823K for a 3 day trip to Maui with clowns, comics, fine food, etc, I sure as shit am deducting every goddamn dinner out and not give a flying fuck. I\\\'ll file it under "this is my protest to government spending unwisely during a recession."

And I urge anyone who runs a business to do the same. I save every receipt I get. From coffee in the morning to expensive camera equipment... DEDUCTED.

Write off everything you know you can and spend it. Write off everything you think you can and save it.

I question your sanity. If you want the military to have your extra money, ive it to them directly. Don't let the federal government have it. Only a small fraction isn't wasted.

What percentage of the total military's budget is from income tax.

Notice I did not ask rhetorically what percentage of tax dollars goes towards the military.

They fund in many ways is the point......

Give the money to the MILITARY! Not the Federal Government. You can do that 1000 different ways.
